‘You need to be a go-getter’

Coca-Cola | Best Employers SA 2011/12 ‘To succeed at Coca-Cola, you need to be a go-getter. The system is big, and you have to be able to grab opportunities and run with them. It’s also important that you have a highly-developed EQ base, because you need to be able to work through others, and have a keen sense of how to influence people across the spectrum of this wonderful nation, and at different levels, both internally and externally.’

Karlan Chetty, 35, Strategy and Business Planning Manager, has a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA (Strategy and Portfolio Management). Chetty joined the company in September 2008 and is responsible for driving the short and long-term business plan development and ensuring that the company achieves its longterm 2020 vision.
